I'm 17, turning 18 in February, and on the 27th of January I'm fiiiinally having a breast reduction. I'm a 16E and weigh 72 kilos and am 5'8. I used to do a lot of sports i.e. tennis, netball, swimming, softball - however my breasts were so heavy and large I felt insecure and pain when I tried to run, in particular. I'd like to lose 10 kilos or so. Will this be easier to achieve once I've had the surgery?

Answer: Most women are able to lose weight easier after breast reduction.
Back pain can result for many different reasons, a common cause is exactly what you mentioned- sleep position. But to be sure you should see your surgeon.
I ask my patients to have someone at home after the surgery. The procedure is same day and I don't want my patients alone. A nurse however is rarely necessary unless a family member it friend cannot be with you.
