Hi there,Thanks for your interesting question.Unfortunately we don’t have any reliable research on safety of dermal filler in babies who are breast fed.Your precious Son is 5 month old and will soon start his solid food and this will decrease his milk intake. He is already not getting much from your breast and all this can eventually dry your supply. It’s safest to withhold your dermal filler treatment while you’re enjoying nursing your Son.Hope this helps. All the best.
There are currently no FDA studies that indicate that it is safe to have any fillers or Botox procedures done while you are nursing. Due to the slight chance that the filler could have a systemic effect and enter your blood stream, it would be unwise to risk the chance that the baby could receive any side effects of the medication through your breast milk. It’s best to wait until your baby is no longer nursing and then consult a physician for any procedures that you would like.
Although there are no studies that indicate wether filler is safe or not during breastfeeding, I would recommend waiting until your baby is fully weaned to get any injectables (Botox and/or Filler).
It is safe to do in general, but what I tell my clients if breastfeeding is to pump and dump for 24hours after procedure, then you can breastfeed again.
There are no studies that prove filler is safe in breastfeeding. If the only thing your son needs your breast for is to settle down, then maybe you can find an alternative soothing device. Then you can get filler, Botox, laser treatments, the works!

There are multiple problems with using previously used or saved filler syringes. First, any syringe that is saved can be inadvertently contaminated and cause an infection or other problem when finally injected. It is also easy to mix up syringes between patients accidentally. A syringe should ...
Very good question. Fillers in the temples are very safe and in fact safer than some other areas of the face. There is no such thing as completely eliminating risk. But I would not hesitate to get temple filler from an experienced and skilled injector. The temples can...
