Since finishing gymnastics in my younger years I've always hated my upper body, particularly my upper back, shoulders and arms, which I feel is from years of muscle building which is now just fat, it never goes away no matter what I do. My flanks and butt just keep getting bigger, but I've done the diet and exercise, and always end up back in the same state. I haven't had a relationship 8 years, as hating my body has stopped me from dating, and this needs to change.
Answer: Liposuction: would lipo be an answer? hello becscammyIf you have fat in a particular area of your body that you can’t seem to get rid of through dieting or exercise, liposuction may provide a good option for you. Liposuction can also be done to improve your body contours. Liposuction is not used for those looking for dramatic weight loss; it is done when you are close to your desired weight. Healthy elastic skin is a major requirement for liposuction to enable quick recovery. In cases where a large amount of fat is removed, liposuction should be done with other body contouring procedures such as tummy tuck, thigh lift, buttock augmentation, facelift, neck lift and chin augmentation. #liposuction #flanks

Answer: Liposuction candidate? When discussing body contouring concerns with patients, it is crucial to identity the problem: excess fat, excess skin, or a combination of the two. Different procedures are employed to address different problems. for most patients this ultimately becomes a question of liposuction vs. excisional procedure. I typically recommend that any patient considering either procedure, reach a happy and stable weight in order to ensure the optimal outcome. these interventions are not weight loss procedures and are primarily aimed at shaping and contouring. If you have not reached your goal weight, I would encourage you to delay any procedure. With regards to your specific question, you appear to be a reasonable candidate for surgery. While you may not appreciate it, you have an excellent figure and that provides a solid foundation for a satisfying surgical outcome. Patients will commonly treat upper back or bra roll as it is sometimes referred to. The upper arms are another area commonly addressed via liposuction. I think you would have a very good result. However, I do caution patients about placing too much significance on the impact of surgery. Cosmetic surgery, while capable of dramatic changes, has its limits. A potential patient must take the time to complete an honest self-assessment. Why are you pursuing cosmetic surgery? Is this intervention likely to achieve the results you are seeking? Your board certified plastic surgeon can give you an honest evaluation and provide a reasonable assessment of outcome.Cosmetic surgery can do many things. However, it is important to understand what it cannot do. Cosmetic surgery is not a means to an end i.e. wealth, romance, self esteem. None of these things are rooted in external beauty/appearance. Patients pursuing surgery for similar reasons are likely to be disappointed. As always, discuss your concerns with a board certified plastic surgeon (ABPS).

Answer: Liposuction You may be a good candidate for liposuction, but this will depend on a lot of factors. You may want to consider doing liposuction, but it should be done in the context of a healthy lifestyle. It is good at contouring specific areas, but isn't a weight loss solution. And if you feel that you "hate" your body, surgery may not be the answer. A reputable board certified plastic surgeon should be able to work through all of these issues with you. Best wishes.

Answer: Lipoesculture Hi, thanks for sharing your concern and photos with us! First I want to congratulate you for making this important decision. Deciding to get an aesthetic procedure to change your body and get a new life style is a big step! Looking at your photos I might say that you´ll be a great candidate to get an entire abdomen, back and waist liposuction with BBL, this is because you have located fat that can be done with lipo. Before all this, of course, you need to get a complete medical evaluation and laboratory exams to check everything is fine. For us your safety, always, is going to be first. Have a great day! Dr. JPG

Answer: Don't hate your body I am so sorry that you are hating your body. While liposuction can certainly help to remove pockets of unwanted fat, body hate or shame is often something that must be approached emotionally as well either with a therapist, support group, journaling, meditation etc.. You are lovely.
