i had a chin reduction 7 years ago and as i got older i wanted my chin back. ive had 2 chin implants that have been unsuccesful. my reason for wanting a genioplasty is to give my chin a 45 degree vertical drop and to reduce the bulk created by my chin implant and to create a masculine v shaped jawline. my doctor says its too risky to reverse a genioplasty and another doctor says its easily reversable. im very frustrated that ive wasted time on 2 chin surgeries and would like to hear opinions.

Cost factors vary significantly for a number of good reasons: Prices vary greatly because the surgery itself encompasses a wide range of techniques that can be performed to different extents. My recommendation is to first find the most qualified surgeons where you want the surgery ...
I would recommend a reduction genioplasty with removal of a 5-7 mm segment of bone. A small micro-plate and screws are used to re-secure the chin bone. The procedure can be accomplish in the office with intravenous sedation and there can be swelling for one week. Good luck
