How can I fix sagging inner thigh and banana roll? (Photos)

Hi doctors, I’m seeking advice after a recent surgery to remove lipoedema from my legs. Unfortunately, too much fat was removed, and I’ve been left with a sagging inner thigh and a prominent banana roll under my bum. My legs are also now uneven, with noticeable irregularity and bumps on my right leg. I’m wondering if fat transfer to the inner thigh or back of the leg could help correct this? I’m open to suggestions on the best approach to restore balance and improve the contour. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated

I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what is wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.

I would first try minimally invasive radiofrequency skin tightening like Renuvion and Morpheus combined to give the best results and with tiny scars.

Lower extremity, Liposuction is technically difficult and overall it’s not Deliver all that much satisfaction, especially if the problem is inner thigh.
Skin is a major variable on lower extremity contour, especially on the inner side.
If that is removed disc skin will be compromised. If a lot of fattest removed, the skin will be significantly compromised.
 That transfer will most likely not be successful because in order for grafted fat to survive there has to be a sufficient layer of host tissue to graft into.
Skin surgery may give some improvements, but will leave potentially visible scars.
The importance of selecting the right provider for liposuction procedures could not be overstated.
Delivering consistent quality, Liposuction results, including the ability to make quality assessments is more difficult than most people realize.
 The number of plastic surgeons to approach mastery of Liposuction is in reality quite small.
I don’t think there’s an easy solution to your problem.
Skin surgery is probably the best but may leave you with further disappointments.
I wish I could be more helpful.
I believe all patients especially those who’ve been left disfigured deserve the truth.
I question if you had a true lipedema in the first place, though without before and after pictures, it’s really hard to make a good assessment regarding the outcome.
