Too much activity after reduction?

'm 10 days PO and the last few days have done a little housework and gone shopping with my daughter. Tonight I'm in pain and have noticed hard lumps near my stitches and above my nipple :( is this normal?

Hi, I don't consider that amount of activity to be excessive. However, if you are having pain and swelling after activity that is usually a sign to slow down. I recommend making an appointment with your plastic surgeon for an examination. In the meantime, relax and let your body heal. #Recovery #BreastReduction #Healing

It is hard to answer your question without a photo or more importantly a physical exam. I would recommend decreasing your activity and scheduling an appointment with your plastic surgeon.

Its difficult to give you advice in the absence of any photographs or more importantly a comprehensive examination.  At this stage of your post operative recovery, lumps and bumps are usually normal as a result of deep dissolving sutures.  They usually resolve on their own and although they can sometimes cause a small open wound.  It would be best to decrease your level of activity and schedule a review with your plastic surgeon.
