Are radio frequency sessions recommended around the stomach after a tummy tuck?

I just had a tummy tuck a week ago and was told having radio frequency sessions will help me heal faster. They are expensive, so I would like to know if it really makes a difference in the recorevy and healing process.

Every PS has different postop regimes and you should ask your PS to talk through the pros and cons of RF and the evidence on which these recommendations are based.

I have not heard that RF treatments accelerate healing.  I do know that it may provide additional tightening and when combined with microneedling may help with the texture of the skin.  I do not know the benefit toward recovery but certainly speak with your plastic surgeon about what specifically he or she is trying to accomplish with it.
