Hello... I think I'm on norwood 2 in the meantime but I'm not sure . I would love to know whether my hairline looks like a mature hair line or perhaps progressive balding? I'm so confused and can't tell at all. When I shower, my hair doesn't fall, Like maximum 10-15 hairs fall out. I would highly appreciate if you can inform me and state your opinion in order to make a decision on whether to get a hair transplant or not. I'm 25 years old. Thank you so much for your time

Answer: Hair Transplant or No Transplant Hair loss can be treated with hair grafting but in your case it would not be advised. First, people with hair loss at an early age the loss can progress to larger areas over time. So, any grafting would cause a problem with the appearance of the hair afterwards. The best treatment in your situation is to get the loss under control which is done by medical management. Options include finasteride, minoxidil, laser, supplements and PRP. We have had good success with these treatments and you should seek a hair restoration physician would can guide you on the best plan. Good Luck

Answer: Hair transplant in 20's When considering a hair transplant in your early to mid 20's, just as important as choosing the right hair restoration surgeon, is choosing the right preventative regimen. Remember, hair loss is progressive. Medications such as Finasteride and Minoxidil can be very helpful in slowing down your hair loss and keeping your existing hair. PRP Therapy is also a great tool in the fight against hair loss and keeping your existing hair. A great first step would be an online consultation. Often you can submit photos to top hair restoration surgeons for a complimentary evaluation. This should help lead you in the right direction. Having multiple consultations with different doctors cannot hurt.
