How much filler would be necessary to achieve this result? (Photo)

Question

Previously, I was informed that jaw filler isn't a good option for those seeking a more volumous jaw as the sheer amount of filler needed would be too expensive for a temporary result. However, it appears it is a fairly popular cosmetic procedure. Would you recommend filler for a similar amount of added volume as seen here?

I have been performing filler jaw augmentation for many years. It generally does not take more than a syringe full on each side of a robust HA filler to achieve the kind of result you are looking for. But you need to be sure that you consult with an experienced board certified cosmetic dermatologist injector and best to avoid venues that sell their work to you by the syringe.  Experienced injectors should be able to quote a fee for the whole job in advance, and then do whatever it takes to get the whole job done. You wouldn't expect a surgeon to quote you a fee for a gall bladder removal by charging for each piece of gauze or each package of stitches used. So, make sure you get a final price quote for the whole job (whatever number of syringes it takes), before agreeing to proceed, and best of luck.

The photo you up[loaded shows filler placed in the jaw (angle and body) and chin.I would recommend 2 syringes filler per jaw, and 1 for your chin, to start. You are looking at about 5 syringes of filler to accomplish this, and you may need touch up/add more depending on how it settles. Keep in mind, a syringe of filler is 1/5 of a teaspoon. To achieve a noticeable change requires multiple syringes of filler.
