Ideally, the projection of the chin in profile view should align more closely to a line drawn from the tip of the nose to the outermost projection of the chin. With this in mind, the use of a robust HA filler appropriately injected into the chin should not only improve this, would would likewise secondarily better define the jawline. Chin augmentation does not simply involve a cookbook style approach of simply counting syringes of filler used. As there are major differences between the ideal contours of female and male chins, you would be wise to consult with an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist, and, make sure to ask to see his/her personal befores and afters before agreeing to proceed. Best of luck.
"A formal evaluation would be needed to determine what's best. Many of my patients try to avoid surgery, so we perform a non-surgical chin augmentation treatment with injectable fillers. Fillers like Radiesse, Voluma, BellaFill as well as Sculptra are injected into the area, improving the overall appearance of the lower face and balancing the jaw and lip harmony. We use cannula injections to meticulously contour and project the chin, soften the chin along the jawline and improve the chin crease.Implants are still a great option once you are 100% positive that you are ready for a permanent enhancement. I suggest getting a consultation with an experienced cosmetic dermatologist and facial sculpting expert; our practice is located right here in Los Angeles. Best, Dr. Emer"
I think some cheek filler to elevate your nasolabial folds and to give your cheek some volume as well as some carefully placed chin filler would give you some mid face elevation and some jaw line chiseling.
This is my expertise and a huge portion of my practice. Asymmetry is normal and expected. Buccal fat pad gives slimming not symmetry. Masseter botox will make you slimmer and make the jawline more loose. Fillers help give shaping and contouring. If you want perfect or close to perfect symmetry...
I recommend fillers to soften the nasolabial folds themselves and also lift around the mouth and cheeks to build underlying anatomical support. In our practice we combine Sculptra with other fillers "layered" on top and lasers, skin tightening treatments such as Thermage, Fractora, and Renuvion...
