Mini facelift scar worsened after microneedling. Did it cause overproduction of fibroblasts or collagen? (photo)

Hello, I had a mini facelift on July 5 2022. The photo on the right is of the scar in Nov 2022. In Dec 2022 I did a microneedling treatment on the scar. Now, March 2023, the scar looks like the left photo. I'm curious if the microneedling caused overproduction of fibroblasts or collagen and created the hypertrophic scarring and/or if it'll recede since I'm now at 8 months and thought this is when it should actually be decreasing.
