This is a great question. Even though saline and silicon implants may have small amounts of trace heavy metals from the manufacturing process, it is safe to do Emsculpt treatments with any implants. Emsculpt uses high-intensity focused electromagnetic energy (HIFEM) pulses to cause sub-maximal muscle contraction. In short, it is safe for individuals with implants to use.
There is no metal in saline implants nor is EMSculpt done on the breasts or upper back so you may safely have this treatment.
You can absolutely get Emsculpt Neo. Breast implants are not a contra-indication. And we have seen great results in the the abdomen as well as flanks (and all the other regions) in patients with breast implants.
I think your implants will be fine having Emsculpt.I suggest you have a few consultations to learn more about the device and if these temporary treatments are what you’re looking for.Best,Mats Hagstrom MD
The RF treatment does expand farther than the actual paddle size. The company has modified the RF treatment to avoid needing to move the paddle and avoid burns. The skin is not burned during the treatment, but will be warm, often wet from sweating, and a little red from heat for a short time...
I would not suggest doing both on the same day, especially if freezing is used for fat removal. The RF portion is what should not be combined with other heat/freezing treatments. Some machines would need to be done at least a week apart.
Emsculpt Neo is safe to perform on the abdomen and elsewhere (except the chest) with a breast augmentation.
