Hi, I’m looking for advice for how to treat horizontal neck lines. I’m 29 years old. I was told Botox or fillers would not be a good option for this type of line. Are there any other options? Thanks in advance!
Answer: Fillers & Botox Work Well For Horizontal Necklace Lines I have personally been using microdroplets of Botox successfully for treating horizontal necklace lines for over twenty-five years since the first reports came out attesting to its success for treating these lines. Subsequently, especially with the introduction of hyaluronic acid based fillers about two decades ago, microdroplets of these placed along the line have also given rise to gratifying results and, especially when combined with Botox, also give longer-lasting results. Be leery of all the claims for this or that relatively expensive "bells and whistles" fraxel laser, radiofrequency device or ultrasound machine treatments as these are far more backed by device manufacturer supported marketing hype than any hard science. Be sure to consult with a board certified aesthetic physician and make certain to ask to see his/her personal befores and afters of necklace line treatments. Best of luck.

Answer: Horizontal Neck Lines Hello. Thank you for your question. These lines can be treated with a combination of neurotoxins and dermal fillers. You will need a thin product that can be placed superfically. Belotero is an excellent choice for this because you can place it close to the surface without having to worry about a tyndalling effect.
