Hello. Thank you for your question. Dermal fillers would be a great option for you to help with your hollowness. You would need something thin, like Restylane-L or Belotero for that area. Juvederm products usually are not great for this area because they are hydrophilic. This can cause you to look puffy if you are hydrated.

I have hollowness, which can also be described as loss of fat in the under eye area/the skin being way thinner than the cheeks. I've been researching under eye fillers and I was curious on whether they'd be the solution for me. I'm 26. Looking for the best suited solutions. My under eyes are also darker, but not sure fillers help with the color.

Hello. Thank you for your question. You need an ablative treatment to help with your scar. Microneedling with PRP would be a great option. Also an ablative laser, such as the Aerolase Era, would be another great option. Both may take multiple treatments to get your desired outcome.

Hello. Thank you for your question. These lines can be treated with a combination of neurotoxins and dermal fillers. You will need a thin product that can be placed superfically. Belotero is an excellent choice for this because you can place it close to the surface without having to worry about a tyndalling effect.

Hello. Thank you for your question. Your scar is pretty deep and would require resurfacing to help improve it. You can do this with an ablative laser, such as the Aerolase Era. You would most likely need multiple treatments. You can also help improve the appearance by adding a thin filler to the area. Something like Belotero would work well for this area. The only problem will be that if the cpap continues to push on the area the filler may not last as long in that area.

So I have been using Cpap full face mask for the past 3 months. One night, in order to prevent leakage I&nbsp;might have tightened the mask causing this injury. The injury has fully healed, but unfortunately now I have this depressed nasal bridge scar. Kindly advise on the treatment? Should I go for a dermatologist?

Hello. Thank you for your question. Ultherapy is a great treatment option for your lower face. The best part about the treatment is your provider can scan you prior to ensure that you would be a great candidate for the procedure. Be careful reading reviews though. The technology was changed since 2018 and the procedure is much more effective than it uses to be. Your picture by no means look like you are “too far gone” for this procedure to work.

I have pretty good skin and not too much volume loss, but I am also 42. My treatment provider believes Ultratherm will give great tightening results, but other posts I’ve read suggest that older patients ditch non-surgical options for surgical treatments for noticeable results. Going under the knife is not possible for me, so my only options are Ultratherm or similar. But I won’t waste my money if I’m not a good candidate. Thank you :)

Hello. You can get a slight brow lift with a neurotoxin, such as Botox or Dysport. But for complete correction, you would need to have an upper blepherplasty to have the skin removed.

I have one hooded eye and one non hooded eye. I am not sure the reason of this, hopefully one of you know. I hadn’t noticed it until recently when I realised one of my eyes were not as open as the other. Would this need surgery to fix?

Hello. Thank you for your quesiton. To remove that much extra skin would require an upper blephroplasty. This is a surgical procedure that cuts out the extra skin on your upper lids to get rid of the hooded appearance.

I'm a 22 year old woman and I don't like how my hooded eyes make me look tired and grumpy, not to mention I cannot do a lot of makeup looks because my lids are covered by the hood. I am half white half Filipino, so my eyes do not look like most Asian eyes and probably require different surgical techniques. I also think that my eyes might be deep-set, but I am not sure. Hello. Thank you for your question. What you are seeing are your malar festoons. Your fat pads are seperating, causing a divide. You can get some correction by adding filler, but this will not completely get rid of the problem. The only way to achieve full correction is by having surgery and having the fat pads removed.
