Does PRP work for hair loss due to Trichotillomania?

What are hair regrow th options for loss do to Trichotillomania?I have hair loss in the front of the scalp as a result of 20 years of hair pulling(trichotillomania). Will PRP work to regrow hair in that area? If not, what will?

In my opinion, you may have a contact dermatitis to the ingredients ( usually lidocaine, benzocaine or tetracaine) used in the anesthetic. You should determine if any of these is a potential allergen for you by patch testing. Treatment is a mild topical steroid. Good luck.

Taken 4 sessions of PRP for hair loss and there are 2 sessions remaining but no sign of stoppage till now. Is this normal??

In my opinion,  hair shedding should decrease by the third month of PRP therapy. Find a PRP expert. Look at photos. Good luck.

In my opinion, p r p has the ability to maintain an existing hairline. It may reestablish an existing hairline  if the hair has been dormant less than 3 years. Find a PRP expert. Let them show you photos. Hope this helps. Good luck.
