Missing period after breast reduction: Is it normal that my period is 2 weeks late?

Thank you for your question!  It is very normal to have variation in your period around a stressful time.  Surgery is a kind of stress on your body, so it is very normal to have changes in the timing.  However, if it is at all possible that you might be pregnant, please go ahead and take a pregnancy test to be certain.  Hope this helps and take care , Dr. Schneider
