How frequently can I get a Jessner peel under my eyes?

I recently got a Jessner peel on my face and under my eyes for hyperpigmentation. The hyperpigmentation reduced but I’m planning to do 3 treatment before judging the overall results. I’m wondering how long I should wait before doing it again, specifying around my eyes. I’m using a professional dermatologist and he said 4 weeks. I want to ask here to reassure I’m giving my skin ample time before treatments. Thank you

Generally speaking we recommend to space peels 4 weeks apart, this seems like your best option since you are trying to target a more fragile area, like the undereyes. Patients with  oily or acne-prone skin can up this frequency to every 2 weeks to get oil production under control.

Usually four weeks between Jessner's peels will allow enough time for the skin to heal from the treatment. You are correct to attempt multiple treatments with the Jessner's peels as each peel will build on the successive peel treatment, and the results after 3-6 treatments compared to pre-treatment will be noticeable.
