I was attacked by my dog when I was 7 years old. My chin was ripped open and I have scars on the entire right side of my face. The skin didn't heal well and I feel as though the doctors didn't put much effort into concern about how I looked after it healed. I'm now 21 and they've faded a lot since I was younger. They used to be very pink but they're white now. Some are depressed and some aren't. I use makeup everyday to hide and cover them but I just want them gone. Do I have any options?

Plato's Scar Serum, fractional lasers, and surgical excision are all different methods used to improve white and hypertrophic scars on the body. Best, Dr. KaramanoukianLos Angeles
Our office specializes in keloid therapy. I would use a Hidef Scar Protocol to address your keloids so that they flatten out and smooth out. This may include lasers, injections, and topical therapy. Best, Dr. KaramanoukianLos Angeles
I would use a combination of Plato's Scar Serum, Melarase PM creams, and light chemical peels to help reduce pigmentation on the legs.Best, Dr. KaramanoukianLos Angeles
