Can I get crown lengthening/ gingiovectomy / gum lift covered by insurance?

I have always had a very gummy smile and at first I was thinking that I would have just crown lengthening for cosmetic reasons. But also I thought maybe discomfort from the gums like, right now the gum pocket of one of my tooth hurts and I have had times where I felt like my gums drooped down behind my teeth. I am not sure if that is normal. I was wondering then will it be most likely covered by insurance?
