I would like my jaw to match that of the fuller side, I think this is a much more attractive side of my face.
Answer: Jawline Definition / Jawline Enhancement / Facial Sculpting / Facial Contouring -- injectable fillers like Revanesse Versa For a more defined jawline to strengthen your profile (and help prevent the dreaded jawline "jowl" sagging), we use injectable fillers like Revanesse Versa - a filler known to limit swelling and give subtle, soft enhancements - or Radiesse. Using a cannula to limit pain and swelling, we inject on the bone in strategic points to get more lift and shaping, resulting in a more contoured lower face and defined, structured jawline. I would suggest getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Asymmetrical jaw line correction options Asymmetric jaw lines are very likely secondary to variations in the shape of the jawbone. These asymmetries can be corrected temporarily or permanently. Permanent options include jawbone surgery (mandibuloplasty, chin-plasty) or augmentation with implants. Temporary options are injectable fillers. Fillers can be administered in the office setting in a walking basis. Depending on the fillers used, jaw line changes can last between 6 months to 2 years.Patients with small jaw line asymmetries should consider undergoing correction with injectable fillers prior committing to jaw bone surgery. A trial of injectable fillers may allow the patient determine if surgery is the best option for him/her.

Answer: I would correct asymmetry with similar tissue. I wound check your face with a scan to see what is causing the difference between the two sides. It could be related to the bone, muscle, or fat. Which side to you like? Correction will require adding to the smaller side and taking away from the larger side.

Answer: Jaw Angle Implant for Jawline Symmetry Your jawline asymmetry is in the jaw angle area where there is less flare/fullness. Facial symmetry could be improved by a jaw angle implant on the deficient side. Perfect symmetry is unlikely unless a custom jaw angle implant is made off of a 3D CT scan.
