Some details about me is that I'm 28 years old about to turn 29. My maternal grandpa had a slight receding hairline when he was around 60 years old. My dad still has hair and his brothers too. I haven't notice anymore hair loss then the traditional amount like a strand here or there. I went to my Family Doctor today and she had a look and didn't really see any issue. I did ask for a referral to a Dermatologist.

Answer: Understanding Hair loss and hair loss treatment options: hair transplant, prp and progesterone
Shedding is normal for men and women. The usual amounts of shed are in the 100-150 hairs/day range. Most people don't see the shed hairs nor the same number of replacement hairs that regrow every day
Finasteride blocks "a byproduct" of testosterone, not testosterone itself. The byproduct (5-alpha-dehysdrotestosterone) is what causes male pattern hair loss. It is ok to take it if your doctor recommended it. There is no real evidence that this medication causes impotence.
