Hi ,I have hairloss at Vertex .. I have been using Kirkland Minoxidil 5% at Vertex area only .. For Hair - Shall I use Minox on entire scalp ? or just vertex ? as im worried using in vertex only may cause hair loss in other areas of scalp . please share your views ..

Finasteride blocks "a byproduct" of testosterone, not testosterone itself. The byproduct (5-alpha-dehysdrotestosterone) is what causes male pattern hair loss. It is ok to take it if your doctor recommended it. There is no real evidence that this medication causes impotence.
