I had liposuction six months ago. It was the smart lipo and I was awake. the doctor showed me what was taken out and it look like a lot of fluid with blood more then fat, at first my stomach was hard and with massages it softened up, but I never really saw any difference, I still have as big of a stomach as before. The doctor is telling me I will see results. But, I have not. I am not sure the procedure worked.

Answer: Pre Op pics 6-9 months is the avg time to see results from smart lipo. If you are concerned that you did not get any results, ask for some of your preoperative photos and compare it to your current state. Sometimes patients forget what they looked like prior to the procedure and a preoperative reference is always good source of critical evaluation. Speak with your surgeon who performed your surgery!

With a photo, it would be easy to tell. If that's the case, then the reason you don't see a difference is because you had the wrong operation or you still need to diet.
