Expanders look really small

My expanders are filled 570cc and my doc scheduled me for surgery saying he can place size d implants in. My expanders are barley a size c. Does that seem right?

I agree, they are too large and laterally displaced.  Given the fact that you expressed those concerns preoperatively, I would seek the opinion of another BS PS to give you some options.  Your issue isnt as easy as just down sizing.  Redoing the pocket is needed as well.

You don't have to make that decision now. as you are inflated you can decide what size that you want to be.  igood luck

The immediate nipple sparing mastectomy reconstruction involves many judgement calls. in his opinion it was safe to expand a little further.  the partial loss of a nipple is not unusual and usually jeals quite nicely.  be patient
