I had Viterase ( Hyaluronidase) yesterday to even out my bumpy lips. The doctor injected the lower lips and a tiny bit of the left side of the upper lip. Couple of hrs later I had swelling and pain in my right side of lips it felt a bit hard. Woke up in the morning it subsided but still looks more swollen than its natural size. And now there are " NEW" asymmetry in my upper lip and it still feels sort of hard !! I don't know what to do ?!??!?

Hi @mm73! Hyaluronic acid facial filler products that were previously injected into an improper tissue plane can be dissolved by hyaluronidase injections. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!
The LN swelling is unrelated. It's my theory that there will be no significant change with the hyaluronidase. Start on medication for trigeminal neuralgia.
Amphadase comes from a bovine source (cows).Vitrase comes from an ovine source (sheep). Hylenex comes from a recombinant human product.BestDr karamanoukian
