Will it be okay to wait 10 days to place a flipper tooth after extraction of to #19?

I will have an implant once able in a few months. I am having an extraction of #19 tomorrow, and I will also take the impression prior to the extraction for a flipper tooth

You also might find out that you don't even need to have a replacement tooth. Often times for back teeth on the lower, many patients go without a temporary tooth which can be more of a hassle than a benefit.

It should not be a problem to wait 10 days before getting your flipper. This will allow time for the tissue to start healing in the extraction site.
