Will it be okay to wait 10 days to place a flipper tooth after extraction of to #19?

I will have an implant once able in a few months. I am having an extraction of #19 tomorrow, and I will also take the impression prior to the extraction for a flipper tooth

Hi Joey, It is not "normal" to feel numb a couple days after the procedure.  It could be due to a couple of things.  First off you could have swelling that has developed around the nerve called neuropraxia which should resolve in weeks to months, this is caused by possible injection...

This is a not a question that can be answered without formal imaging of the area and an evaluation.  There are many possibilities but the best thing to do is go back to your provider and have a CBCT of the area and evaluation the probably causes of your issue.  Implants can be removed...
