When can I ride roller coaster rides after having Breast Reduction?

HI, SO I HAD A BREAST REDUCTION AND LIFT 4 weeks ago. My son wants to go to universal studios for his birthday so I wanted to know when is it safe for me to RIDE ROLLER COASTER RIDES?

My baseline answer for activity after breast reduction is 6 weeks.  The reason is that we want the scars to heal beautifully and have no external forces ruin the healing process.  Wait another 2 weeks and then go!!

This answer is best for your surgeon as he/she knows the extent of your surgery and can best decide when you can resume this activity. Typically, after 4 weeks you should be able to return to whatever activities you like but check with your surgeon. #Recovery #PlasticSurgery #BreastReduction

Congratulations on having undergone the breast reduction procedure. When you will be able to return to specific activities is best determined by your plastic surgeon who knows your situation best and who is ultimately responsible for your care.
Whether or not you can go to an amusement park will depend on the specific activities planned; for example, I would not suggest getting on a jarring roller coaster ride until you are approximately 2 to 3 months out of the procedure.  Otherwise enjoy the results of your breast reduction surgery and the amusement park.

Thank you for your question. I would recommend waiting 4-6 weeks after surgery before going on roller coasters. You want to make sure that your wounds are well healed prior to having any jarring impact on the breast. It takes six weeks for the wounds to get 80% of their strength back. I would check with your surgeon as they would know how you have been recovering. Good luck and I hope your son has a great birthday.

I would consult with you surgeon about when it is time to return to full activity but usually it is about 4-6 weeks.  If you do increase your activity, do so only as you body will allow. So if it hurts or is uncomfortable then back off your activities.
