Hello and thank you for your question. The best advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation. PDO threads should not be used in the nose and will never work for a deviated septum. Surgery is a much better option if you have a deviated septum. This decision should be based on a detailed discussion with equal input from both you and your surgeon. A deviated nose can because from a variety of issues such as crooked nasal bones, concave and convex upper- Lateral cartilages, and asymmetrical nasal tip cartilages in addition to a deviation of the nasal septum itself. Surgery with a closed rhinoplasty approach is going to be required to make the nose more symmetrical and straight. Non-surgical treatments are not FDA approved for the nose. Rhinoplasty is a very difficult endeavor, so your surgeon wisely based on extensive experience straightening crooked noses, surgically.
