Had a lower face/neck lift. I am not happy with my results. Shouldn't this be taken care of with the procedure I had?
Answer: Facelift Revision Thank you for your question. I would suggest making a follow up appointment to discuss with your surgeon. If you did have a revision you would need to wait a minimum of 6 months. All The Best

Answer: Revision surgery Thank you your question. Just base in the pictures it seems to me that yes you need a revision but my advice is to go back with your surgeon and discuss your possibilities.

Answer: Lower facelift results Thank for sharing. It's hard to critique any previous procedure for lack of results not know exactly what was performed. For example if you had a mini S lift then there would be smaller incisions but smaller improvement. That said in the near future certainly more skin can be lifted for a greater result. Typically you would want to wait close to a year. Speak to your surgeon and maybe a second opinion to see what your options are.

Answer: Inelastic skin and possible relaxation First off, it’s not a fair test to demonstrate skin looseness by exaggerated facial expressions like excessive smiling and pinching the skin over the cheek. When you see the pictures of your face when you are trying to demonstrate your neck, your face looks fine. You have a nice jawline profile, no jowls, no marionette lines. If you want the skin tight during animation of muscles, your face may be too tight at rest. With regard to the pinch test over the jaw, there should be some mobility over the area. The same thing goes for the neck twisting maneuvers. All comparisons should be with your face at rest and in neutral position. One factor involved here is the quality of your skin which is inelastic, it’s thinness, and lack of underlying tissue bulk.Showing pre and post op photos would be a better test of the result. However, in spite of everything I noted, it is possible to have post op relaxation of inelastic skin after a lift and retightening can be considered at least at the six month mark. If you seek a retightening, you should go back to your doctor and express your concerns but will need to wait for any revision until at least 6 months post op.

Answer: Mini Facelift & Mini neck lift -- FaceTite RF for internal skin tightening + Neck Liposuction for definition/contouring FaceTite can internally tighten the skin in the lower face and neck. After all the skin has been heated and contracted, we shape the neck with liposuction to give definition and remove stubborn pockets of fat. In one quick treatment, we can tighten skin, remove fat, and contour the lower face, jawline, and jowls with only a weekend of downtime. Keep in mind that combination approaches will give you a more significant improvement as opposed to a single procedure. I recommend getting a consultation with a board-certified cosmetic dermatologist and facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer
