I’m over 1yr post op, I have Sebbin classic cohesive high profile 360 cc.They feel firm when standing, harder and very unnatural when lying down. My PS said they look perfect, i agree. But they feel too firm. I haven’t much natural breast tissue, so I think the implants aren’t very ‘covered’. My PS insists I should leave them as they are but I really don’t like how they feel. I’m size 6, 5ft3, currently f cups, I could easily go smaller if it helps or change the brand. I appreciate any advice!
Answer: Implants too hard Thank you for your question. My advice is if you are unhappy with the feel of your breasts, you should consider revision surgery. Without an examination I couldn’t give you specific implant advice. Good luckDrMaz

Answer: BA revision Dear Josephine1985,it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MD Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery

Answer: Firm breasts after breast implants Firmness after breast augmentation may be due to the firmness or cohesively of the implant gel or you could be forming a thick scar capsule. Sometimes it is difficult to differentiate between the two. It sounds like you have thin soft tissues, so the implant cohesively is going to play a big role in how your breasts feel. As you said, you do not have a thick layer of breast tissue to camouflage the implant. Going smaller or with a less firm implant may help. Philosophically, I would always do what makes you happy, but your plastic surgeon should be able to tell you what is possible and what is not.

Answer: My #breastimplants feel hard. Should I be worried and/or replace them? Exam in the office is required to assess whether this is just firm, highly cohesive implants in a setting of limited tissue coverage or a true capsular contracture (which is rare to have bilaterally, but it does happen sometimes). I suspect this is likely due to the limited soft tissue coverage and the firmness of the implants themselves; there are now softer, slightly less cohesive implant variants that might make sense to consider. Go on some second opinion consultations with revision breast surgery experts.
