Area where botox injected is white, is this normal?

I recently had a botox brow lift performed. Ironically, the day before I received the botox, I started highlighting my brow bone with a lighter eyeshadow. Now, that area is permanently "highlighted" or a white-ish color after the botox. Has this ever happened before to any other patients? It's not objectionable, but I'm curious why this happened.

I have never seen a Botox injection cause any permanent discoloration.  It is not uncommon to have some temporary redness but I have not seen any pigmentation changes occur.  If you haven't already, you might see the physician who treated you so that you can be examined.

Botox will not cause permanent skin color changes, especially immediately after treatment. It is possible that lifting the eyebrows with Botox allows the light to reflect differently on the brow bone so the skin looks lighter. Highlighting the brow bone with a shimmery, light eyeshadow is an effort to mimic this effect of light reflecting off of youthful skin.
