I have sun damage and crepe paper type skin on both legs. I'm wondering if Thermage or Fraxel Restore would be the best treatment? I'm so confused!
Answer: Fraxel better than Thermage
Fraxel Dual and Fraxel Restore are both far better than Thermage in my experience. Fraxel uses a laser and Thermage uses readiofrequency for its effects which in most cases does not result in as significant of a result.

Answer: Sun damaged skin can be treated with IPL while crepey skin can be treated by doing Resurfx . Fractional laser is an amazing and highly effective treatment in our office. We use the laser treatment to help with acne scars, large pores, fine wrinkles, tissue collagen loss, scars, sebaceous hyperplasia, active acne, and for brightening dark pigmentation. Although there are very strong fractional lasers such as CO2 laser, we use lighter treatments for corrective skincare and maintenance of results. Our Thulium fractional laser, clear and brilliant laser, and Ultra Thulium laser are excellent options in our clinic. We also perform CO2 fractional and erbium depending on skin tone and tolerance for downtime. Patients do have to use a Melarase cream before and after treatment to help further reduce pigmentation after laser. Melarase AM, Melarase PM, and Melapads can seriously improve surface sun damage and UV related pigmentation. Dark spots can improve with these treatments. I recommend fractional laser for incisional scars as well, especially after plastic surgery. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: I prefer the Fraxel Restore Dual Laser for crepe skin and rejuvenation of arms and legs.
Thermage is more for skin tightening. With the 1550 nm wavelength and also the 1927 wavelength, the Fraxel Dual is a wonderful laser to help improve the texture, tightness and surface appearance of the skin. In my opinion it is the best technology to rejuvenate leg, arms and also the neck and chest.
