What do I do with all the dead skin after microneedling 5 days ago?

I had microneedling done on my chin on Tuesday, it is now Saturday evening. My skin isn't exactly peeling it just has tons of dead skin sitting there. I pat it with soap in the shower and rinse it off, I can't pat it dry though because the skin will come off, and i just dab lotion on it carefully. Do I just let it sit there or do I take off the dead skin at some point? It's been sitting there for a few days and it doesn't fall off. The areas underneath are still dark colored.

Thanks for your question , all my patients ask me this all the time! Its great your skin is peeling, you are shedding all your damaged skin, let your skin heal its self, naturally, apply gentle cleansers to lift the skin , but do not exfoliate, find a nice medium. your skin will lead you in the right direction. sometimes when my patients are very dry i will have them come in about 2 weeks post needling for a hydration restore treatment, follow up with your provider, if your feeling irritated.

The skin is still healing, it's imperative to let the skin do what it knows to do- repair. Usually, within 7-10 days the skin returns to normal appearance. To speed healing, do not pick or scratch; keep applying the mild skin products! Follow up with your skin care provider as well.
