Maybe my question is kind off silly but i can not choose the implants. The size going to be 400-425 round forb subglandular.. What softer and better Mentor or Natrelle ?
Answer: Mentor or Natrelle Mentor and Allergan (the maker of Natrelle implants) are both established manufacturers with a long records of making good implants. Sientra is the 3rd major company in the US that is FDA approved to make and sell breast implants to hospitals and surgeons. The choice will depend on your size, shape, and needs for a specific style of implant. Your surgeon should be able to guide you.

Answer: What’s better? I appreciate your question.I use 100% Mentor breast implants because of the quality and softness of their breast implants. They also have a huge variety of options. Discuss this with your PS or make an appointment with me. Sincerely. Dr. Aldo

Answer: What do you think is better: Mentor or Natrelle implants? Thank you for the question. Personally, I think that careful selection of plastic surgeon and careful communication goals are the two most important "factors" when it comes to achieving the desired outcome with breast augmentation surgery. The specific breast implant manufacturer and even type of breast implant are far less important factors, in my opinion. All of the FDA approved breast implant manufacturers provide good products (with very similar characteristics). Generally speaking, the best online advice I can give to ladies who are considering breast augmentation surgery ( regarding breast implant size/profile selection) is: 1. Concentrate on choosing your plastic surgeon carefully. Concentrate on appropriate training, certification, and the ability of the plastic surgeon to achieve the results you are looking for. ***Ask to see lots of examples of his/her work. 2. Have a full discussion and communication regarding your desired goals with your plastic surgeon. This communication will be critical in determining breast implant size/type/profile will most likely help achieve your goals. In my practice, the use of photographs of “goal” pictures (and breasts that are too big or too small) is very helpful. For example, I have found that the use of words such as “natural” or "C or D cup” etc means different things to different people and therefore prove unhelpful. Also, as you know, cup size varies depending on him who makes the bra; therefore, discussing desired cup size may also be inaccurate. Again, the use of computer imaging has been very helpful during the communication process, in our practice. 3. Once you feel you have communicated your goals clearly, allow your plastic surgeon to use his/her years of experience/judgment to choose the breast implant size/profile that will best meet your goals. Again, in my practice, this decision is usually made during surgery, after the use of temporary intraoperative sizers. I hope this helps. Best wishes.

Answer: What do you think is better: Mentor or Natrelle implants? Allergan (Natrelle), Mentor, and Sientra are the big three in terms of breast implant companies in the United States. All implants they produce are FDA approved, and thus have been rigorously tested and found to be safe. Choosing between these implant companies is kind of like choosing between Mercedes, Lexus, and BMW when buying a car. All three make great products with slight differences between each that makes one more preferable over the others in certain circumstances. They each make comparable implants in regard to shape, volume, projection, shell, and silicone gel cohesiveness. Each plastic surgeon has his/her own preferences based on several variables, largely including familiarity with their products. Choosing your plastic surgeon based on elite credentials, excellent before-and-after photos, and your personal comfort with him/her is a far better approach than picking your surgeon based on what implant company he/she uses. In fact, many plastic surgeons use multiple different implant companies based on which implant they desire for a certain situation. I would recommend consulting with a plastic surgeon who meets the above qualifications, express your goals/preferences, and allow him/her to pick the best implant to meet those goals/preferences. Best of luck! Ziyad Hammoudeh, MD

Answer: What do you think is better: Mentor or Natrelle implants? Thank you for your inquiry. Both Mentor and Allergan (who makes the Natrelle implant) are excellent companies and make comparable implants. It mostly comes down to surgeon preference. The company that is chosen is not that important but the style and size of the implant chosen is. Be sure you are in the hands of a board certified plastic surgeon and that you have communicated your desired outcome.
