I have sinus disease in my frontal, ethmoid and maxillary sinuses. I am a pilot and have severe pain on occasion while flying, but have headaches and pressure in my face every day. I am just starting my career and do NOT want to use a nasal steroid the rest of my life and I have really bad rebound congestion after using afrin. The surgery is to open up my sinuses and enlarge the ostium. I do also want to get rhinoplasty but would prefer to only go through one surgery.
