The recovery process from sinus surgery usually takes a full 6 weeks to feel the final result. During that time it does get frustrating sometimes but will well worth it in the end.

Sinuses are bony cavities in the skull which are usually filled with air and have a lining which secretes mucous. That mucous drains out of the sinuses and into the nose through certain bony channels. If the channels become blocked either from allergies, viral infections or bacterial infections then the patient can experience pain.
Pain is usually a symptom of an acute infection however in many cases, a chronic sinus condition, meaning lasting more that 6 weeks or repeated infections, do not elicit pain as a major symptom. The patient is more likely going to complain of excessive cough and post nasal drip with nasal congestion and pressure in the cheeks and around the eyes.
Commonly a dental infection that then progresses into a sinus infection elicits a lot of pain in the face as well.

The BBL device uses energy to target different parts of the skin and therefore it is possible to use too much energy and create a burn.
Sometimes the final effect of the treatment is not visualized until later in the day.
