What happens if you get veneers and the tooth underneath it is weak and loose?

Hi:Bone and gum is the foundation around the tooth.  If there is active gum disease, the prognosis of the tooth will be compromised.  However, if there is no active gum disease and there is enough bone around the tooth, veneer can be a possibility.Best,Dr. Maddahi

Veneers are an aesthetic treatment, should be considered last, after health and function. If your tooth has this problem, you should fix that first. You will not enjoy a beautiful tooth that you cannot eat with, or that you might lose.
