I had a Buccal Fat Removal about four months ago and I don't really see a difference. So I was wondering if it's possible to get a buccal fat removal again?
Answer: Buccal Fat Removal Usually, the entire buccal fat pad is removed during surgery to maximize the aesthetic result. There are times when only a portion of the pad is removed, if the patient is very thin or if the pad is abnormally large. If the entire pad was removed there is no benefit to trying to remove more.Thomas Taylor, MD, FACS

Answer: Buccal Fat Removal Dear AshleyC108,I am sorry you are not happy with your outcome. If the entire buccal fat was removed in the first surgery, then there is no benefit to getting another surgery done. If however, only a portion of it was removed, then you can benefit from it. I would consult with your surgeon to find out more information and then I would get a second opinion. Hope this helps. Best regards,Nima Shemirani

Answer: Buccal fat removal surgery Dear AshleyC108, this depends on the previous surgery. If the buccal fat was removed completely then there is no need for a second surgery. However, if the buccal fat was removed only partially, then a revision surgery might be an option. Daniel Barrett, MD, MHA, MS Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, Am. Answer: How many times can you get a Buccal Fat Removal? = it depends of how much it was removed #bcucalfatremoval #Chubbychjeeks Buccal fat is a pocket of fat in the face that once it is removed, it never comes back. HOWEVER, if only a portion ( a piece) of the buccal fat is removed, it is possible to go back and remove the rest to have a more accentuated result. It is important to know that in order to have a good result with buccal fat removal, the patient should have good high cheek bones. If not, the result won't be optiomail until the cheek bones are enhanced with either soft tissue filler like voluma or cheek implantsPatients interested in buccal fat removal should make a consultation with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon specialized in plastic surgery procedures of the face
