Dear aprilmikity,dermal fillers have significant swelling post injection. I would follow up with you plastic surgeon but typically I tell all my patients to wait a full two weeks.  Generally at 2 weeks they are happy and glad they didn't dissolve.  You can try massaging your lump to see if it will improve. Dissolving is unpredictable as well.

Thank you for your question. A lump on your lip can be either a hematoma or product injected superficially. If the lump is the product it can be dissolved with hyaluronidase. I recommend having a follow up with your injector for a proper diagnosis. Best of Luck!

Hi there and thanks for your question. A lump on your lips can be secondary to a number of things such as a bleeding/bruising (hematoma) or a ball of product. I would recommend follow up with your injector to help determine what the issue is. Time will certainly help. If the lump is secondary to focal administration of product massage by the injector may be able to redistribute the problem area. Hope that helps and best of luck!

Sorry you are having issues, hope it settles soon.  Depends on the density of the product and if they have injected dense product superficially, this can happen. Try to see a provider that can help you settle the product into the right area soon, to avoid having lumps for a long time, since the product is more mold-able now.  Hope that helps.

Sorry to hear that you have these concerns after your injection.  You should know that the lump is not necessarily attributable to the volume of injection, even though this never happened to you before with 0.5 cc injections.  Many patients receive a full syringe (or more) in the lips without developing bumps.  Not sure when you had your injection, but the mass either is a focal area of inflammation related to the needle entrance, a small hematoma, or some of the product.  If it is related to the injection process, it will improve over time as the inflammatory response or hematoma resolves.  If it is product, it likely can be massaged smooth.  Follow up with your injector for assessment and treatment, but know that it is unlikely that you will need to tolerate the lump long term, nor should you need to have it dissolved.  Best of luck!

You dont say how long ago you had the injection but if it was recent it is probably uneven injection technique that may straighten out and massage may help
