I’m a 23 year old woman. I had radiesse in my cheekbones in May 2023 and I was very happy with the results. I went for a consultation about my cheekbones in December and I was persuaded to put radiesse in my cheeks. I actually didn't want that. I did it anyway, very stupid. I have had 0.5cc in my left cheek and 0.5cc in my right cheek. What can I do to have this broken down as quickly as possible?I often do facial massages and I exercise 5 times a week. Does that work to reduce Radiesse?
Answer: Radiesse injections I'm sorry to hear that you're not satisfied with the results of your recent Radiesse injections. Radiesse is a non-surgical filler that typically lasts for about a year or longer. It works by stimulating your body's natural collagen production, which can create a long-lasting rejuvenating effect. Unfortunately, unlike hyaluronic acid fillers, Radiesse cannot be dissolved quickly with an enzyme like hyaluronidase. Once injected, it will gradually break down and be absorbed by your body over time. While facial massages and regular exercise may increase blood circulation, there's no conclusive evidence that they can significantly speed up the breakdown of Radiesse. In fact, excessive manipulation of the treated area is generally discouraged as it may lead to unwanted shifting of the filler. If you're really unhappy with the results, it's best to consult with your provider or another experienced professional. They might be able to suggest other treatments to improve the appearance, or reassure you that the filler will settle and look more natural over time. In rare cases, surgical removal may be considered, but this is usually a last resort due to the potential for scarring and other complications. Remember to always communicate openly with your provider about your aesthetic goals and concerns in any future consultations to ensure that you're on the same page about the expected outcomes.

Answer: Hello, firstly, you've made a great investment for your future. Radiesse stimulates collagen production. Considering collagen decreases after your twenties, Radiesse injections are important for fibroblast stimulation, despite your young age. On average, the volumizing effect lasts about two years, but the collagen-stimulating effect lasts much longer. Therefore, there shouldn't be concerns about the initial volume it creates. It's also known as Hydroxyapatite (Bone Powder), derived from deep-sea algae, making it organic and non-allergenic. As it's not in gel form like other fillers, it distributes beneath the skin, contributing to the renewal of not only the skin but also subcutaneous connective tissue, cartilage, and bones. Regular facial massages may expedite the filler's dispersal, promoting tighter, brighter, and more radiant skin. Don't worry; this situation will bring you much happiness afterward.

Answer: How can Radiesse break down faster? Radiesse is a dermal filler that contains calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres suspended in a gel. It is used for facial augmentation and wrinkle correction. The longevity of Radiesse results from the gradual breakdown and absorption of the CaHA microspheres by the body over time. The natural breakdown process varies among individuals, and the effects typically last about a year or more.If you are seeking ways to accelerate the breakdown of Radiesse or any other dermal filler, it's important to note that the natural breakdown process is influenced by individual factors, and attempting to speed it up can have unintended consequences. Nevertheless, here are a few considerations:1. Metabolism and Blood Flow: Factors such as metabolism and blood flow can affect the rate at which the body breaks down and absorbs the filler. Staying physically active and maintaining good overall health may influence these factors.2. Consult with a Healthcare Professional: If you are considering any changes to your dermal filler treatment, it's crucial to consult with the healthcare professional who performed the initial injection. They can assess your specific situation and provide guidance based on their expertise. It's important to approach dermal filler treatments with realistic expectations and to follow the advice of healthcare professionals. Attempting to manipulate the breakdown process can lead to complications or unintended outcomes. If you are dissatisfied with the results of your dermal filler or if you are experiencing any issues, it's best to consult with the healthcare provider who performed the procedure. They can discuss your concerns, provide information on potential options, and offer guidance on the best course of action for your individual case.
