Excessive swelling after fractional laser. Can’t not find past op pics like my swelling?

I had a fractional laxer 21 hours ago. I are now swollen shut and face swollen like a pumpkin after ice packs all night and now. Is this normal?

It can be normal to have significant swelling after laser resurfacing. Everyone will vary in regards to how much one may swell. This can be alleviated by head elevation, ice packs, low sodium diet and rest. Swelling may get worse for a few days before it gets better. However, if swelling gets worse with associated pain, then contact your surgeon. Hope this helps!

Everyone's swelling is different after laser treatments. Icing periodically 20 mins on and 20 mins off every hour, low sodium diet, and elevating when you sleep will help with the swelling. If you feel like your swelling is progressively worse then contact your laser specialist.
