Thank you for your question and photo. While perfect symmetry is impossible to obtain, Botox can improve balance by relaxing the muscle activity associated with the uneven appearance. Hyaluronic acid dermal filler can also be administered to add volume where necessary and improve facial balance. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced expert injector. This is my expertise and a huge portion of my practice. Asymmetry is normal and expected. Buccal fat pad gives slimming not symmetry. Masseter botox will make you slimmer and make the jawline more loose. Fillers help give shaping and contouring. If you want perfect or close to perfect symmetry you need maxillofacial surgery or implants customized. I suggest seeing an expert to go through all options. For facial slimming a combination of treatments are always needed. Options include: 1. Buccal fat pad removal to reduce fat on the lower face 2. Thanks for your question! In a perfect world it would be helpful to assess what is happening if we could see a picture of you without animation vs a picture smiling, to compare. Or perhaps a video to see what is happening. However, based on the one picture we have to see, the easiest solution would be to try to some botox and see if this settles. You will know within a week or two, and if the result is not the solution you are looking for, then the second step would be to add some filler. Good luck!

If the reaction occurring with your chin is muscle related then it can be improved with a Botox treatment. Visit with an experienced injector for an evaluation. If it is determined you are a good candidate for Botox you will see results in 7-14 days. They will fade gradually over approximately 3 to 4 months.

A face to face consult and examination is always best however in this scenario you could consider some botox to the mentalis muscle which can help soften the appearance and tone of the chin on expression. Yes have a consultation with an expert injector and discuss fillers and perhaps a bit of Botox. You have some volume loss in certain areas that can easily be fixed.
