I had a lip lift in late October. The scar was healing, then I got an itchy red bumps on the scar. They will not go away.

I went back to the surgeon and he prescribed anitbiotics and antiviaral meds, which did not help at all. Then I start using cordisone cream, benadrl cream, and now tea rose. I have made an apt with a dermatologist. Help. What could this be?

I would recommend having the lip augmentation first. I prefer to use synthetic fillers rather than fat as fat can be very unpredictable. The lip lift procedure is designed to shorten the upper lip and once the filler is stable you can decide if you still need it.Best of luck
