Two front veneers chipped after 1 month, should this be happening? What can I do?

I just got 6 porcelain veneers on my upper front teeth less than a month ago. The 2 front teeth are already chipping a little on the edges. I have not even eaten anything hard yet because of fear of breaking them so I am concerned that they are already starting to chip. Also- one of the front veneers is shorter than the other. I could not see this during the try in. Is there anything I can do about this? I feel like for the price I paid, they should not already be chipping. Thank you!

yes, it is not common. but anyways u have to replace these veneers. as modified veneers are not good looking. but before that discuss your concern with your dentist and have to check what causes this and have to correct it first.

Sorry to hear that you are having an issue with your new veneers.  This is something that is certainly not normal.  It sounds that the bite may need to be adjusted and if not things will continue to chip.  I would go back to the dentist who did the work and voice your concerns.  Good luck.

Hi:One of the reasons for the chipping could be that the bite needs to be adjusted, meaning the veneers are a little bit too long.  My suggestion is to go back to your dentist right away and voice your concern and let him see the chipping.Best,Dr. Maddahi
