I just had my veneers fitted two days ago. I noticed on top of my right veneer a rough area at the gum line. I can use a dentstick and see the line of the veneer all around the top and when I get to the rough spot it looks like a tiny ledge. My dentist assures me that this is not an open margin and it is probably cement that was left when they were installed. She said that it can be polished down. Do you think this is true or is this an open margin and how do you fix it?
