Do I need a back lift or only liposuction ( I already booked an appointment for liposuction, tummy tuck and bbl)
Answer: Liposuction or back lift horizontal torsoplasty back skin rolls back fat treatment of back fat back liposuction excess back Hi Mino7977 in Kuwait, Thank you for your question regarding whether you need liposuction or a back lift. Thank you for your history and your pictures. Since you were already planning a BBL, your plastic surgeon will need to harvest as much fat as possible. Therefore, I would suggest back liposuction, not a back lift at this time During back liposuction, back fat can be harvested and injected into the buttocks for buttock augmentation or BBL. If you were to undergo a back lift during your BBL, that precious back fat would be thrown away. So, I would focus on obtaining the best BBL results by doing back liposuction, not a back lift. 4 to 6 months after your back liposuction, if you are not pleased with the back liposuction results, you can always undergo a back lift. There are two types of torsoplasties: horizontal torsoplasty and vertical Torsoplasty. During a horizontal torsoplasty, an incision is made across your back. During your vertical torsoplasty, an incision is made from the armpit down your sides. Both torsoplasty procedures are done under general anesthesia and are outpatient surgeries. Plan on a 2 to 3 weeks recovery. Thank you for your question regarding liposuction or back lift. I hope that I have answered your question regarding back lipo or back lift. Good luck with your back liposuction and BBL surgery. Sincerely, Dr. J.T. Katzen.

Answer: Liposuction or back lift Liposuction alone will remove some of the excess fat but you may have loose skin as a result. A bra line lift will help to contour the upper back. It is important to note that a bra line lift will not really affect the contour of the hip and flank area.

Answer: Upper back lift You have excess skin of the upper back. An upper back lift would take care of the excess skin. The incision is designed to lie within the bra line. It also extends into the axillary area that can be done simultaneously or after a breast lift. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.
