My Blepharoplasty surgery, upper eye and "lower tuck, was done 11 days ago. Overall, I am very pleased. Following surgery, I had bruising/ swelling without any pain. Most has resolved except for the "fluid bags" on my cheeks. After I wake up the morning the bags have repositioned, but they migrate down to my cheeks. I believe that is gravity; however, my concern is they do not appear to be changing in size, is this normal? Will they resolve naturally? Is there anything I can do? Thanks!

Answer: Cheek edema following lower eyelid blepharoplasty
Without pictures, though based on your description, it seems you may have ptosis. This is a common problem and one in which there are treatment options. I suggest meeting in-person with an ophthalmic plastic surgeon for an an evaluation. Best wishes!Karen Singer, M.D., P.A.Harvard GraduateBoard ...
The answer depends on exactly your eyelid problem, it extent, anatomy, etc. Steroid shots do take time to work but they only so much. See an oculoplastic specialist for experience in revision eyelid surgery.
Yes, It should be no problem to have thermage of your upper eyelids and Ultherapy of the forehead a week prior to your procedure. I would recommend you letting your surgeon be aware of your plans as well.
