1 side of my stretched ear is thinning, can I get fillers? (Photos)

Question

I have my ears stretched to 1/2inch. I noticed about 6 months ago that my right ear is pierced lower than my left. Therefore my lower and side parts of my ear ire getting thin. I’m s starting to worry about tearing and was wondering if fuller would plump up that area and give me some security. Thank you!

Thanks for your question! Dermal filler will add volume to the area, and therefore could help to add some stability to the lobe. However, this is not a surefire solution. I recommend consulting with a plastic surgeon who can determine if injectables or surgery will give you the best outcome for your specific case. Hope this helps!

Hi there! You can add filler to the earlobe to increase volume. It may increase stability, but it's hard to say. With gauges, you have to be careful about stressing the peripheral skin too much which may cause tissue loss. Fillers like Juvederm Ultra work well and you may have your injector try small amounts over several weeks to make sure no adverse effect occurs. Hope you find this helpful!
