Your body will immobilize your filler around two weeks after a nasal bridge injection. Most sunglasses have nasal pads that fit along the sidewall of your nose, so the type of glasses are important as well. Hope this helps. Dr Joseph
There is no "right answer" as to when you can start wearing sunglasses after fillers like juvederm, restylane, perlane or radiesse are injected into the nose, but generally I would advise about 1 week wait.
Great question and I hear this often after the procedure. Yes you can and in fact, I have many patients that will have this procedure specifically because they have a shallow bridge and cannot support glasses. Right after the procedure and for a few days post, you will want to refrain from wearing anything that will place weight on the injection area. The product needs to settle so we always ask patients to not massage or press on the area. You may have some slight swelling or bruising and that is perfectly normal. If this occurs, it will subside quite quickly. Dr. M
I am not aware of external compression devices leading to permanent changes in anyone's nasal appearances. Consider re-asking your questions with photos. Wishing you well. Dr Joseph
Kenalog may cause dermal atrophy (thinning of the skin), but it will not affect the cartilage.
Nonsurgical rhinoplastic treatments may not be suitable for achieving rotation of a droopy nasal tip. In general, droopy nasal tips may require rhinoplasty surgery for improvement. Thank you. Dr Joseph
I do many non-surgical rhinoplasties (lunch time nose jobs) and get similar results with all the fillers, but... I currently prefer using Juvederm and Restylane since they are reversable. Reversable products can be dissolved quickly if any problems arise. Radiesse might last a little...
You can treat your nose normally after a non-surgical rhinoplasty treatment. If your bridge is injected, you may want to avoid wearing glasses that may apply pressure to the treated area for a month after your treatment. Hope this helps. Dr. Joseph
