i did botox and i hate the results, i didn’t expect it to drastically change how i look & everyone around me is noticing (i look odd). I also did ask my injector to add as little units as she can (i’m not sure how much she added). i know it’s irreversible but is there anything i can do at all to quickly help wear off the botox? even if its taking supplements. i heard copper helps eliminate the effect of botox is that true? note: this is my first time having botox and i’m in my early 20’s.
Answer: Less botox is not always better It might sound controversial, but applying a little more botox on strategical areas around your face can help us achieve that natural look you are looking for. What botox does is it the muscles. Some muscles on our face pull to some direction, and others pull to the opposite direction. If we only treat a muscle that pulls certain way but not the contrary muscle we might get an odd expression on our face. What I recommend is to achieve balance on the strength of those muscles and that is something that can definitively help. If you don't want to apply any more botox, an option would be to get a treatment involving heat, such as Co2, or any kind of ultrasound. Heat treatments can help shorten botox durability.

Answer: Unhappy with Botox results. Botox wears off completely in 6 months, sometimes even in a shorter time. When applied by an experienced surgeon, your results will be amazing. I'm sorry that you are unhappy with your results. I'm not sure how many days or weeks have passed since your botox procedure but it will start to look more natural and settle completely in 2 weeks. Usually, your doctor will ask you to come back one week after applying your first dose to see how your results are and do the necessary corrections during your follow-up visit

Answer: Unhappy with Botox Results Hello Intuitive332988! My name is Jessica, I am a physician assistant, and one of the providers at Shah Facial Plastics. I am so sorry to hear that you are unhappy with your results! The good news is that these results are not permanent. With Botox, the effects last on average 3-4 months. Therefore, there is not much that can be done to reverse the effects. I recommend to remain patient and allow for the Botox to gradually wear off its effects.

Answer: The effects of Botox will wear off completely in 3 to 6 months. I am unaware of any antidote for Botox other than time. If you are not comfortable posting your photos, consider getting a second opinion. Sometimes people look odd after Botox, and a dose adjustment may be helpful depending on your examination. I hope this helps! Sincerely, Dr Joseph
